American Indian Physicians Association
Since 1971, AAIP has been pursuing excellence in Native American health care by promoting education in the medical disciplines, honoring traditional healing practices and seeking to restore the balance of mind, body and spirit in the treatment of native peoples throughout the United States. AAIP has been extremely successful in recruiting American Indians and Alaska Natives into the health professions and in making its presence and concerns known to the greater health care community.
