Nation Building for Native Youth Leadership Institute, Scottsdale, AZ – July 22-27, 2008

This is a life-changing youth empowerment program for up to 28 Native Youth ages 16-18 and their advisors. Sponsored by the Nick Lowery Youth Foundation and funded by the UPS Foundation and others, NBNY integrates powerful and proven 21st century educational strategies for building positive, confident, responsible and empowered youth with Harvard University’s Nation Building framework and cutting-edge leadership, communications, life skills, and service learning. It also provides training and resources to adults working with youth.

This year’s program will be better than ever!! The 6-day agenda includes a service-learning project, a mock-tribal council and a phenomenal opportunity to participate in a 5-hour Bondurant High Performance Driving School Attached is a program description, eligibility requirements, youth applications and advisor information form. We will need these to confirm your reservation. Reservations for the 28 slots are on a first-come-first-served basis.
